Will running XMP on Windows 2000 Server cause any performance problems? I already have it on a hdd but can remove for Win2kpro.

Yes, it will run on a w2k server. I run a dedicated XMPserver on w2k and w2k3 servers

Well, I would assume better. A server OS will allow you more flexibility with the server control. You can set prioritys etc.
