Default Loading and Unloading Mutator via MapVoteLA/ASU

Hi,

I've asked variants of this before but finally putting the pieces altogether.

I would like Strangelove to come on and off for various maps. Specifically I'd like it on for all maps except for ArenaTubes.

I had it loading in my ucc.init under:

MYMODS=SLV205.StrangeMutator,MapVoteLAv2.BDBMapVot e
But that forces it on for all maps. So if I remove it from there, and then add it as a CustomGameConfig:

yes this is possible

however you are stepping into the Medium-Advanced Arena's now

You have 2 Options:

Medium: Using MVLA13 you Setup any/all GameTypes and custom mutators pertaining to these are set for each one. (max 16 Gametypes)

then you only have certain mutators running for each one.. ie; SLV205.StrangeMutator and a Separate one for the SLV205.StrangeArena one.

Through the runserver.bat just have ?mutators=BDBMapvote.MapVote

EDIT-------------

Remove the mutator= and leave only Mutators="SLV205.StrangeMutator,<next_mut>,<next_m ut>"
;<next_mut> = Next Mutator , ie; DoubleJumpUT.DoubleJumpUT

Remove the Mapvote from the customGame ?Mutators= section
this only needs to be run from the startup.bat and will start every map switch / server restart.

MapVoteLA is quite advanced to setup.. takes a while to get your head around it..
best way is to study other's config's via google "MapVoteLA"

unfortunately some things are broken in it.. and there's a few bugs and limitations.

these we are working on in our new MapvoteX which does most of what MVLA does and more.

The mapvote can remove only mod it have set itself.

You need to start the server with only the mapvote and set gametype with it.

I was trying to say that for the "Medium" answer, that is exactly what I had setup. I've since changed my .bat (.ini) for ucc to read:

I will look at the advanced solution but if you have any ideas on this let me know. The only MV ini files I can find online do NOT have SLV205.StrangeMutator running in them, just the StrangeArena, which I do not want.

As I said in the post above, this is what I've done and no change. Could it be that the SLV.StrangeMutator doesn't work when loaded via MapVoteLa?

SLV205.StrangeArena replace all weapons with slv
you have set SLV205.StrangeMutator it just replace redeemer with slv

While SLV205.StrangeArena does indeed work, it converts every weapon into a strangelove. I don't want that. I want the functionality that SLV205.StrangeMutator gives you when you load it via ucc.init. And SLV205.StrangeMutator doesn't load via CustomGameConfig from what I can tell.
