Can't get enough Players

What am I doing wrong? Their was once a server just like the one i set up and was crowed all the time. I cant get enough players. Wish someone couls advise me what to do. If you want to check out the server and leave some advise I would be grateful. IP 66.208.105.19:7777 password=UT

Take off the password, adverstise in clan forums and other related sites. Host a clan or offer your server for their use. As well the more popular your server becomes the more apt you are to attract botters and freaks that just want to mess up your games. Also if you do not have a redirect server do not put on any custom files i.e. voice packs, skins, maps and or anything that doesn't come with the original UT because the downloads will kill your bandwidth and people do not want to wait forever downloading just to get in your server, they will go somewhere else if it takes to long.

And our Den is almost always full. Unfortunately due to this we have had an overabundance of botters on the server lately. I am hoping that the Pure Team has another version planned for release soon.

Amen for Pure and the help it has provided. I hope MD5 is a reality not some fantasy devised to keep stringing us along so that we keep our servers up and running. I have been hearing about MD5 for several months now but haven't seen anything other than it's coming soon.... . I must say though if it is real and it does come out soon I would be extremely grateful, I would pay for it if it stops cheating on my server. As well I would be extremely grateful for another version of Pure that comes with a renamer that works with the zeroping and vahalla I would pay for that as well. You see guys there are some admins out there that don't code, don't cheat and would place monetary value on the products of those that can write code. Hey Wolf your server is sweet but your right it's rife with botters I was there the other night and in less than fifteen minutes two different botters came in and cleared it out, there was no admin present though. I have the same problems but most of my guys have semi admin and do not hesitate to push the ban button. Peace all!

Rockets dont mix with aimbots. This is hard to cheat with,By the way traffic has picked up well. Thanks fer the advise.
