I'd get in touch with the admin and see if he can help you. You should be able to get the server info using a tool such as ASE or HLSW.

They shouldn't be. Normally, you can rename them and they'll work just fine. This is one of the things CacheConverter does.

EDIT : Working Perfectly O.K...seems much stable than pure7e and was easy to load

are the "flag glow" brightness issues fixed now with 7G? I know with anything later than Pure6E we (my clan and others) were having issues with the Dynamic Lighting not showing up well in darker areas of a map. In fact, when the flag dropped in a dark area or corner of a map, etc., you could'nt even see the flag hardly. But when we changed back to Pure6E, the flag glow was bright as heck in the SAME areas. Does anyone know what is causing that with the later Pure versions and if its been fixed with this version by chance??

Hi,
On the linux server I admin (version 451 and UTPure7G) the red flag in EternalCave is invisible, doesn't glow or anything, most of the time. Even at its default location you can't see it, but you can pick it up. Annoying, if somebody drops the flag and you can't find it :). Haven't noticed this on other maps yet.
The post above describes a similar situation.
I'm not able to comment whether this problem occured with 6E and version 440. I upgraded (a few hours ago) from that and noticed the bug when checking the servers.
Is this an UTPure issue? I suppose, the problem is not with my windows client (451b).
Any comments appreciated, thanks.

well I have UTPG v451b no our server, and we are running UTPure6E with ZPPure. We have no problems with the "flag glow". But, when we had UTPure7E on it, we had the problems of not being able to see the flag glow in certain areas (any dark area). Thus we went back to 6E. Now we dnot have the problem again.
Does anybody know what the issue is with the new Pure versions and the flag glow by chance? Azaele?

Sure, but there are some probs with ZeroPing and SniperArena...
..the only thing what is powerfull and works correctly is UTPure

Use the SniperArena in ZPPURE instead of Zeroping. Its less laggy anyways

I found a way now. I use UTPure, UTPureZP and NBSP... it works fine and holds away the cheaters...

Not if your server is strong, you have a good connection, and you configure it right.
And Especially on servers < 16 players.
