That's a familiar issue, but I don't recall the solution for it. Have you tried the command line arguments "-ini=YourIniFile -nohomedir"?

jup, the full cmdline is:
ucc-bin server MIS-Dam?game=FragOps.FragOpsMission -mod=FragOps ini=FragOps.ini -LOG=FragOps.log -nohomedir -multihome=<IP>
still getting the same "Commandlet server not found" message

I think the answer may be that the file '"CacheRecords.ucl" gets trashed by the vanilla install of the dedicated linux server. I think...
There's a clean copy of the file at the link in my sig - as well as a startup script which will copy a clean file into place prior to starting the server. The script assumes that the copy of cacherecords.ucl that lives on your box is clean & makes a backup of it, then copies the backup into place each time it's initialized.
It would be at least worth a shot...

Re:Commandlet server not found
in case of ut99 , this is mainly caused due to incorrect ini=`your ini' in your start line for example;
./ucc-bin server DM-Deck16][?game=Botpack.DeathMatchPlus?mutator=MapVoteLA13.B DBMapVote ini=incorrect.incorrect log=server.log -nohomedir
Cheers

My first post here in many-many years but I came here to find a solution for my UT2004 UT server running on an old Pentium IV windows desktop and back4more nailed it. This worked! My UT2004.ini was corrupted somehow. It listed having data in it but when I looked it was nothing but a blank page. I replaced it with a backup and the "Commandlet server not found" error was resolved after I saved replaced the bad file with the new one and restarted the server. So, almost 15 years later, this thread saved my server's butt. Thanks back4more!
