Talking Almighty UnrealAdmin must be a noob

Tick To The Rate
I was just wondering why the tickrate has to be set to a pitily 20 . Even the mighty UnrealAdmin reccomends a tickrate of 25-35. Cmon Ray, hook it up with 25 I'll give you a shiny penny.

No don't touch it it must remain @ 20 or we will shut you down & if you think your going to sneak around & do it you better guess again because we will know & you have my word we will shut you down.

Almighty UnrealAdmin must be a noob & does not know what he is doing then, Tickrate only needs adjusted on linux as that's the only way you can get one to run, if anyones almighty when it comes to running servers it's me, I've run & administrated more servers than any one other person in the world "That's a fact" & I'm telling you do not touch the net tick rate.

What an idiot.

VSK dont know how to admin servers to save thier life, I wouldnt buy a server from them. I could find a way to adjust it without them knowing anyway, its all bollocks.

Ohh My God....Not Ray Again.

I am even a member on a www.rippoffray.com, where the sole purpose of the site is to tell people not to buy his servers....

He stole 250 dollars from out of his "Terms of Agreement" and got my server shut down.
Well....now I own my own racked server...

Here is the Link that will tell you all about him and his crappy business.

http://www.rippoffray.com/forums/

I personally have my servers set at 25-35 Tickrate.....20 is too little.

LOL, Ray deleted the whole thread, and also removed the sentence in the other thread where he used "loose" instead of "lose"

Hey Ray since you obviously read this thread, try investing in a spellchecker. Better yet, go back to school and get your GED. Idiot.

What really cracks me up is, he calls Unreal Admin owners "noobs", but then you can find posts on his forum where his staff sends them here for help. Like: http://www.vskinternetservices.com/f...pic.php?t=7755 (<- will probably be deleted though)

Here's a good read found off of google:

No, that's untrue.

There are implicit ("goes without saying") trading standard regulations they need to play by, even if they say in a contract they wont go by them; they have to be law.

Serious, they are SO expensive, I wonder that they allow you to play

We are with gdhost.co.uk which is our partner for a long time now.
Affordable and FULL rights, you can do whatever you want as long as you pay

A contract is between you and a service provider, not a third party organisation.

I think what Sardukar is talking about is consumer protection laws.
In most states (but not all), state law overrides a contract.

(This is just an example, not meant to be fact)
If state law dictates that consumers have a right to a refund or return goods,
but you sign a contract where the other party says no refunds are given, then the contract is null and void. A legally binding contract cannot go against state/federal law and remain enforcable.

VSK can "say" anything they want in thier contracts, but that does not make it binding if it violates the law.

I think that this guy may be running a company called zeroservers now. We got a post on our clan website for zeroservers. The info on their site looks a lot like VSK.

Yeah, whoever zeroservers is, they were around here telling everybody what a sweet deal their servers are After checking out their page, they do lowball small servers, but a 2k4 server the same size as ours that allows ONS with all extras we get for free would cost you about 100 a month, and ours goes for about half that.
