AnthraX...... I think you have great potential for anti-cheat coding but you need to keep in mind most servers these days have mods and mutators that you should put in consideration when you code your anti-cheats.
I talked to FLuKE the other day about helping you perfect your anti-cheats and he is more than willing to help. Register at www.hofgaminclan.com and we'll chat more if you are interested.
As of this moment in time our RX6 server is the most popular RX server since Rosebum was four years ago. We accomplished popularity in less than a years time with a 9yr old game.

PLEASE CONSIDER HELPING US KEEP UT99 FAIR AND FUN. Peace out.

amazing, you can see 2 things in common with most of these people who are having a problem with it.
1. they have their game tweaked to the nuts to gain an advantage
2. they can change their ips in a moments notice (which means what hahaha)
oops sry anthrax i was flaming
you keep up the good work as there is not many left to help the ut99 community and everything you do is appreciated by the [wolf] clan and many other who run their game the way it suppose to be run

this is an interesting one , as I was only yesterday kicked from the server I play on for the same reason , it was immediately after I got the Shield Belt!.
I think your Question could be the reason behind this error , as another player still had the shield from the previous spawn b4 I took the new SB.
Good find.
I use goty version btw.

I haven't looked at the code in this one, but I've looked at the code in AntiTweak. If this one works anything near the the same the cause could just be that the server is using custom pickups/spawns of any kind realy. AntiTweak even sees my statsmutator as a cheat? come on ... it's a custom HUD mutator running on the server .... To make a mutator and call it antitweak by only checking if the clients settings is different from the default settings of the actors is not the right way to do it. You also have to include a check in it to detect if the SERVER assigns those values to the players. This way people gets framed just because they are in the wrong place at the wrong time. Like picking up a shieldbelt while still beeing under spawnprotection. Then the coder should know that changes are made to the lighting af the textures. Not to mention some maps have pickups that are not sized 1.0, but maybe 1.3 or something to fit in a spot ... by picking those up you also risk beeing "caught" as a cheater.

Thank you for that info Dane. Woudl you be able to have a look at the DPL (Dynamic Pakage Loader) at some point and insert a few lines so that it can recognise Virtual Prefixes from MapvoteLA13? Perhaps you would be able to fix this pretty awesome ServerActor? see this post here if you can help
