looks promising, we had trouble with UTDC and NPLoader on {HoF} RX6 server and it couldnt be used, hopefully this will help us remove some unwanted players.
gj anthrax and as already stated, we all greatly appreciate your dedication to UT99.
if you ever need to use a test server with high traffic then our server is at your disposal for testing.

Well.. hope its soon.. ive pretty much given up on the game until something is done. Guess ill be pretty rusty if anything ever changes.
Good luck all...
P.S - Dual booting a new computer with an older operating system is just not logical for one thing (UTDC) that doesn't run.

I absolutely agree that testing this would be good on a high traffic server like FLuKE has stated. Our HoF server is at your disposal AnthraX.

Youll have to dload UnrealTournament Demov348 to test it out..
Unrealtournament 1999 Retail will not work...
To dload UTDv348 go here http://ut-files.com/index.php?dir=UT_Demo/Demo/
and of course dload UTDemo348.exe

Nice to see that there is still active development after such a long time. I'm tempted to dig up my UT discs and install the game again :-)

Any chance of this new anti-cheat working with WINE installations? Linux UT is borderline impossible to run on a modern computer as is the original Mac version, leaving the Windows version about the only playable version out there.

I'm currently fixing some performance issues. The current beta is functionally complete though. And it will not be compatible with WINE (for now at least). I'll see if I can fix it in the next version.

I was worried about that. Have you tested it? If not then I'll probably give it a try later to see if it crashes or does any of the crap UTDC did on my LAN. If you actually plan on developing it for WINE, then I would recommend developing it for WINE version 1.0 RC2 rather than trying to develop it for multiple versions. Since 1.0 RC2 handles UT99 flawlessly it could easily become the official unofficial WINE version for UT. Obviously if it works on my LAN when I test it, there probably won't be any tweaks needed to make it work with WINE.

UT have a native version for Linux... why you are using wine for that?
