My server was crashed 10 times last night. People are openly sharing these methods on cheat sites too. Of course, up to Anth if this is released as is.

Good to know you are also aware. I am hoping Anth got my offline messages. My servers were rendered useless last night since it was continuously being crashed. Apparently there are more ways to crash it through ACE which I am still working on obtaining methods.....Prime example of what happens when things like this get into the wrong peoples hands. If people are going to even try to bot, they probably won't hesitate to crash servers either.

One of those clever dimwits was crashing my server from Uni in America. I have a packet sniffer installed on my server because people think it is funny to crash my server with malformed string I can't wait to see his Uni's response since my server is hosted in USA and it is covered by FCC law in (USA) I think sending these packets to his Uni IT department will be fun

I had at least 5 different people doing it simultanously :/

little edit which i found out.

If you use ACE for a BT server make sure you change ShowLogo=True into False.
This because if you aint do that and ace logo goes out after a few sec then BT++ logo , records and timer will also dissapear.

Hmm dodgebot,triggerbot and i can name a few more to obtain fastet cap on maps!

On the other hand i see i ping that is about 10ms lower then without ACE.
Gameplay is smoother and there for better in BT.

And i know from some admins that also run a BT server they want to use it.
I think even clanbase wants to use this for cupmatches on the servers instead of UTDC so people with newer systems can participate again,because they got kicked by utdc.

So thats a small part of why.

Thanks for all the work that Everyone has put in on this project. I'd love to be able to play on my old server and others that I can't with my Windows 64 bit--you are saving the game from extinction!!! Really Appreciated.

So is everyone enjoying the degrading performance on thier servers because of ACE? Your new version caters to people who can afford new computers. What about all the people who are still running older operating sytems or pc's? Every server I have played on that runs ACE is almost unplayable. Skipping, Skating, frameloss, Lag, timeouts being kicked for running older versions of opengl drivers and the list goes on. I know there is going to be bugs but this is a joke. in my many years of playing Unreal and hosting a server this has to be one of the worst anticheats I have seen. Sorry and I don't mean to be so blunt but we all have opinions and I'm just voicing mine. Release it when you can actually make it work on all platforms not just new. We want to keep players playing and losing them because ACE is chasing people off because normal people who don't cheat are being affected in many different ways. (read above)
My hat is off to you for trying to make better, but I think you forgot about the Old Schoolers who don't want to go out and by a new pc just to play a old game.

It was the whining community who basically "forced" Anth+team to give you a fast/buggy release. None of you were willing to wait, and now you're whining because it's not good? It's simply pathetic.

If you keep an eye on the changelog, and have a look at the few servers running ace v0.7 you'll see major improvements. However i don't think Anth will rush that release because of some whiners. A nice and stable product would be great, and it's well worth waiting some more weeks for that.

My point..Don't release until you have a Decent product. As i see it now it's garbage and doing more damage than helping. Yeah a few people say it has caught people but a lot of it was mistakes because it read the files wrong. People (players) will only put up with it for so long and they will move onto other servers that are not running it. Now your losing server traffic and paying for a server No One wants to play on.

The sad thing is people who pay and run a server have the mentality of ( It's mine and if you don't like it, go somewhere else) Well guess what? They all leave and you get to run a empty server or just a few people who have new pc's and Win7.
