aka log.....anyone know if i can set the mutate aka log list command to admin only? theres people abusing the aka log

Its a feature available for everyone in the server. I think the mod would have to be modified for it to be changed.

that sucks.....i put aka on there so i know personally who players are so if someone comes in and starts pwning i no who they are....and dont have to get suspicious i alos use it to log IP's of cheaters that UTDC wont pickup kinda useful but it gets abused by players and we all know some people like to alias

well if the problem is tag related you can protect tags by using nicknameban mutator?

it will kick/ban those who abuses protected clan tags

sorry i guess that last post might have confused you a little what i meant was i have the aka mod running and obviously some people like to alias at times the problem is any player will just type into their console mutate aka list and it will show them who it actually is but nevermind i guess its cool ill either take it off or leave it on after warning peeps to stop abusing it

If you use Matthew's version (in the ASC zip) it should also log the ASC id (when using ASC that is)
At least you/the admin can compare them between who is, and who isn't

My new job has forced me to learn Linux. So I might be releasing a linux version in the coming months (or sooner if I have time).

Just a general poll....most of you linux server guys have Red Hat, right? Cent OS? Debian?
