Thanks for the effort AnthraX, you are my favourite person of the moment
Ran the lib as described, but unfortunately, it is only outputting the successful calls by recv. Here is rec.log :

Went through the same routine : startup, browse LAN, connect, see redirect fail, see server upload begin, F10 stop, stop client. I believe what I've logged here is the successful transaction between the server and the client.
UnrealTournament.log is exactly the same as before. The webserver log is also the same, except the filesize has changed from 122835 (previously) to 118491.

the log you've posted is incomplete. Did your UT client crash by any chance?

Nope, that's just where it cut off. I suspect that's where it stopped when I hit F10, to back out of the the ut server download. Apart from me editting all the OpenGL errors at the beginning, that is the complete recv() log as captured.
