ACEManager

A tool to manage various clientside settings of ACE ,taking snapshots and banning
on basis of HardwareID/MacHash of the clients.
It also shows all the information obtained by ACE ingame to the admins.

It shows true country and hosts of the players behind proxy.

ACEManager provides a user friendly GUI to perform the above functions.

All Versions of ACE and ACEManager

this is a welcome addon , Iam patiently awaiting the next version of ACE which deals with the enhanceditems (cache) bug and other minor timeout issues.

I must admit I was getting sick of manually typing mutate ace player-this , settings that .

even took awhile to get the syntax correct, so this will def help and be of good use.

hopefully they will put the sshot cmd in where it (screenies) all players, or maybe you can implement it into your GUI .

Best part of it is that you dont have to know the ID of player.Just click on player name and take snap!!

The enhanceditems kicks weren't a bug. There's simply multiple versions of that file so I had to put them on the global whitelist (did this yesterday so everyone has received the update by now).

Addon looks good btw.

cool , I will re-enable it and see how we go . the Same player that went to Devastation server and got kicked , also got kicked from mine , I told him to erase his cache and then try again which he done so and was fine @ both Devastation and mashype.

ace is rejecting any mod menu items now for some reason so this no longer works :\

you sure its not EUT?

you have to add any modmenu items you want to use to an allowed list in the EUTServer.ini

AllowedMods[0]=specfix.specitem
AllowedMods[1]=udemo.UDmodItem

etc

the screenshot thing is just what myself and my clan has been after thanks

Is it possible to have it save the shotpassoword in the user ini for example and maybe a command to screenshot everyone on the server?

Also can you make it so if you hold down ctrl you can select multiple players

As for the banning thing can u add it so that it can tempban as i think this would be more useful on certain servers

A nice suggestion .Its in my todo list now

Meanwhile I made new version which has ban manager + ACE info window
(I asked some admins to test but it seems they are short of time )
So I cant guarantee um.......... whatever

Good job with this.

You might take one thing into account. I noticed you prefix the client ban message with [ACEv08g]. I suggest you remove/replace that prefix and add the serveradmin mail to it for contact. This way it should be more clear it is not default/caused by ACE, and thus preventing people asking (AnthraX) to be unbanned on unrealadmin.org, as I thought I already seen a topic about it here. I did it in my policies mutator.

Little offtopic: it feels kinda strange that I've asked permission for a public release of my policies mutator (UTPolicies), considering the responses from the community when I had released it. I wonder if you experienced the same. I never got any reply tho.

ACEManager calls many functions of ACE.For instance playerkick

Check.PlayerMessage("+------------------------------------------------+");
Check.PlayerKick( true );
So this thing brings those [ACEv08g] prefixes.

ok hello all, I have just spent some 45mins trying to get this thing to work

here is some problems that Iam having.



as you can see there is no "Ace Manager" on button , but it does sometimes work :\ less often then not.

Next:



It does not seem to work at all from command line with "mutate ace manage"

*have tested in 2 separate installations.. note however the original version did work from both cmdline and mod menu.

Next:



i can't for the life of me get the ban manager [tab] to appear? :\

yes I have tried logging in as Admin etc.

Perhaps if Iam the only one having these problems then it could be a conflict with another mutator and/or EUT_source which version 1.0 worked on fine.

sorry for delay in testing , have been rather busy and.. tired

ps: I removed all other occurencies of AceManager versions 0.9-12 from both server/client's leaving only the current version 13.
also adding the following line to EUT_Server.ini ; AllowedMods[8]=ACEManager13.ACEM_MenuItem

which allows somewhat for the intermittent display of the 'Menu'

Unfortunately I never got to test this mutator but was very interested in it ... however a known botter/cheater/lamer requested that you remove it which you done :\
perhaps you could re-upload it for testing?.. if you are kean I am happy to host it on the mashype website here you may upload your mod there and it will be approved once i receive confirmation of upload.

if you upload here @ UnrealAdmins however you will need to flick Wormbo a Message to add to the files...

Another Option would be to upload it to www.ut-files.com and advertise the links here...
